Turkish President congratulates Maduro on presidential election results

The Turkish president reaffirmed the ties of brotherhood and cooperation between Venezuela and Turkey and invited Maduro to make an official visit to his country as soon as possible to “continue advancing strategic projects between both nations.”


Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil reported on Wednesday, August 7, that the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, called President Nicolás Maduro to congratulate him on the result of the presidential elections announced by the National Electoral Council, which declared him the winner for a third term.
