Tocumen International Airport has announced its incorporation into the “My First Job” program, one of the flagship initiatives of the Panamanian government, led by the President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino. This program aims to provide job opportunities to the country’s youth, effectively integrating them into the labor market.
As part of this initiative, Tocumen International Airport will offer its first work experience to more than 40 young people, who will be able to work in key areas such as Passenger Service, Security and General Services. This action underlines the airport’s firm commitment to the professional development and inclusion of young Panamanians in the workplace.
President Mulino recently highlighted the integration of 1,058 young people into the labor market through “My First Job,” demonstrating the importance of the program in creating new opportunities for the country’s emerging talent.
By participating in “My First Job,” Tocumen International Airport reaffirms its commitment to creating decent and inclusive employment opportunities for young people between 17 and 24 years old, including high school graduates, university students, and students from vocational schools with technical training from INADEH. This effort aims to establish a solid foundation for the professional and personal development of these young people, preparing them for future employment opportunities.
