Minivan in reverse ran over an elderly man who was walking calmly along a steep street in Cundinamarca

An elderly man who was walking along a steep street in the San Mateo neighborhood, in the municipality of Soacha (Cundinamarca) was run over by a driver who apparently committed a traffic imprudence.

The minivan was driving in reverse in the aforementioned area, while the elderly man was walking in the middle of the street. The driver apparently did not notice the pedestrian’s presence and ran him over.

The images show how the vehicle runs over the man, who was left lying on the ground with visible wounds on his face, so he had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.

Although the exact date of the accident is unknown, the video was published by the Colombia Oscura website on August 5.

The health status of the elderly man who was hit by the minivan is unknown.
