Agencies.- About 100 illegal immigrants on the terrorist watch list have been released into the U.S. during the Trump administration. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, revealed a report of the House of Representatives, published this Monday.
“Under the Biden-Harris Administration, of the more than 250 illegal aliens on the terrorist watch list encountered by Border Patrol at the southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, the Department of Homeland Security has released at least 99 into American communities,” reads the report by Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee.
The report cautions, however, that the figures presented do not take into account the “countless number of potential terrorists” among the nearly two million people who have evaded Border Patrol at the southern border since President Joe Biden took office.
It is also noted that between 2021 and 2023, undocumented persons from 36 different countries were found on the terrorist watch list. These include Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.
“As national security experts and immigration officials become increasingly concerned about the threat of terrorism originating at the border, it is clear that policymakers must take all necessary steps to secure the border and stem the flow of illegal immigrants,” the document reads.
“Yet the Biden-Harris administration has refused to address the national security nightmare created by its radical open borders agenda,” it concludes.
