Meanwhile, the next federal president said that she will work together with Maru Campos in favor of the inhabitants of Chihuahua and mentioned that there are moments of tension, especially during campaigns. This is because during the electoral process of June 2 there were some accusations by the president against the federal government.
“We are going to work well, we govern for the people of Chihuahua, both her as governor, the municipal presidents and us from the Mexican government starting October 1. There are moments of greater tension and also natural ones, particularly during the campaign,” said Claudia Sheinbaum.
And to exemplify the joint work, he said that there are two highway projects that are “important” for this state, so he announced that they will also be promoted by the federal government. In addition, he mentioned that they invited the governor to have the state participate in the IMSS-Bienestar.
“These two highway projects to the Pacific are very important. These projects and others will be developed together, and governments that are not yet in the IMSS-Bienestar will be invited to participate in the generalization of health systems,” he said.
Meanwhile, on her social media, the PAN governor said that during the meeting with the next president she presented important projects for the state, such as the Guaymas-Chihuahua highway and the Cerocahui-Los Mochis highway.
“Both routes are essential to strengthen connectivity with the states of Sinaloa and Sonora. We also talked about the infrastructure of the border city. It is very important to be able to ensure, first, that the people of Chihuahua and investors have the conditions to be able to invest effectively and efficiently in energy, water, roads and more,” he wrote on his social networks.

Claudia Sheinbaum met this Monday with governors of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Nayarit, Sinaloa and Sonora to review the priority projects of both the governors and the federal government, and will continue these meetings with state governors this week.
