Fernando Buen Abad Domínguez: Elon Musk and the cynicism of the magnates

TO

although it serves as an example here, What matters the least is his name and surname, Musk is nothing more than a cog in the rotten and criminal system that we here denounce and fight. Armed with his whims and tycoon antics, Musk drools over taking over Venezuela’s natural resources and drools over giving Chavez’s revolutionary people an ideological lesson for daring to build a country with sovereignty and a Bolivarian socialist project. When greed turns into psychopathy, greed overflows. They spread the class hatred that they have aged in media barrels. Monroe? vs Bolivar again?

From the inexhaustible reservoirs of their egos Musk and his packs, macabre greed oozes, deployed in coup narratives. But they forget that there is collective memory, which is not just an inventory of memories because it constitutes a symbolic battlefield. Musk feeds his perverse libido with the idea of unleashing a colossal onslaught of misrepresentations and fake news to subordinate the people of Venezuela to looting, mainly oil, under the methodology of the artificial intelligence bourgeoisie that they use as a weapon of war. Musk’s greed has been displayed as the secretion of elixirs that intoxicate his henchmen and admirers, as criminal as he is, impregnating them with beliefs or fetishes that appear as their own intellectual phenomena, even though they have the factory seal of cognitive warfare laboratories.

They are spending obscene sums for the coup d’état whose real task is to replace the ownership of natural resources. Let the coup plundering take place seductive with the offer of libertarian wonders; to leave on the table of our realities the very bitter impotence that assails us before the windows of imperial violence.

Musk put the mug to lead a delirium of dictatorships that operate their ideological broths within the democracies bourgeois as deaf tendencies camouflaged with votes. It has managed to infiltrate, with verbiage democraticand all forms of technological deception in a fertile propaganda terrain for their profitable irresponsibility. It is also a semantic coup d’état orchestrated by the oligarchic media armies that call democracy to their plundering perversions.

The monopolistic concentration of technology is a threat to democracies. And it seems that we are getting used, at incalculable costs, to consuming docilely, in a planned and addictive way, everything that is imposed on us by transnational technological consortiums, often with a matrix in the war industry. The Internet will not let us lie, for example. We transfer huge sums to the military, banking and media corporate apparatus – without brakes and without audits. This is understood here as dependence in its broad sense that includes the most varied addictions and the most novel. We acquired technology without sovereignty; we did not consolidate our productive forces, we did not create an internationalist current for an emancipated and emancipating technology; we did not create the semiotic factories for emancipation and the rise of consciousness towards transformative praxis; in the production of technologies and we did not create an ethical and moral bastion for the political control of discourse and spending. It is not that there is a lack of talent or experts, it is not that there is a lack of money or that there is a lack of needs with their scenarios. The crisis of transformative political leadership wreaked havoc, once again. We talked a lot, did little. Neither the MacBride Report (1980) we knew how to listen and use it as it should be.

That is the fertile field in which bugs like Musk multiply. We are in the crossfire between three simultaneous wars: an economic war unleashed to give another twist against the working class; a territorial war to ensure control, meter by meter, of natural resources and against social mobilizations and protests; and a cognitive-media war to anesthetize us and criminalize social struggles and their leaders. Three fires that operate in a combined manner from global financial mafias, the war industry and profiteering. Condor Communication Plan bent on silencing the people.

In particular, the cognitive-media war that is taking place in the social networks as Xis an extension of the imperial economic war that is not content with putting its exploitative boot on the necks of the people, as if it were a moral triumph of all humanity operated from imperial power stations with local aid. That is what Musk’s business has served for, imposing induced addictions on us for the consumerism of its ideologies. It is a double articulation of dependency that surpasses national powers (many do not pay taxes, do not respect laws and do not respect identities), while offering support to local operations in which the balance of capital is tilted against labor.

Our technological dependence on communication is astonishing and very dangerous. The enormous danger of being exposed to psychopathic magnates who own planetary commercial communication, like Musk, is obvious. And yet, against all the difficulties and not a few pessimistic forecasts, people fight from very diverse fronts and in asymmetric conditions. With victorious experiences, in more than one sense, but a self-critical review of greater urgency is necessary. Enlightened in the media battle, even in what we do not even imagine, we go with our communication practices fighting bourgeois manias and vices in bulk. We fight and resist the enormous barrage of illusionism, fetishism and mercantilism with which the ideology of the dominant class shakes us daily, which has hypnotized many and turned them into parrots capable of happily repeating hegemonic models. It is vital that we all keep ourselves safe. The enemies of the people are showing their faces and their weapons. We will also say this in X.
