The tempting invitation: ¨The Cibao goes to the festival“This was the preamble to the discussion on the creator economy industry in Santiago, on the way to the first Educational Festival for Content Creators promoted by the platform “Negocios Lo que no te Cuentan” by Héctor Manzueta.
The UTESA Convention Center was the space where Carlos Gamarra, Tik Tok’s Country Lead for the Dominican Republic, spoke about creativity, music, and monetization for creators on this innovative platform.
Then, in the main panel, led by Héctor Manzueta, the expert in communication Otniel Salcedo; the producer and Youtuber Ariel López, from the 3 Pesos platform; Peter Marte, director of the UTESA Entrepreneurship Center and President of the National Entrepreneurship Network of the Dominican Republic, contributed their considerations.
During the event, Amelia Hernández, from the Labrandr agency, offered the welcoming remarks and was a central part of the organization and convening of the event.
The universe of content creation, the desired monetization, codes and global trends were some of the topics addressed in the discussion, which also allowed connecting with the community of creators who contribute innovation from the Northern region.
