Brazilian Tatiana Weston-Webb shone brightly to seal her presence in the final of the women’s surfing tournament at the Paris Olympic Games (France) after beating Costa Rican Brisa Hennessey by 13.66 to 6.17, in the waves of Teahupoo this Monday (1).

In the grand final, still on Monday, the Rio Grande do Sul native will face the current world champion of the World Surfing Circuit (WSL), the American Caroline Marks, who beat the French Johanee Defay in the other semi-final.
Medina seeks bronze
Also on Monday, in the men’s competition, Gabriel Medina lost to Australian Jack Robinson by 12.33 to 6.33 and will seek the bronze medal against Peruvian Alonso Correa.
