Diosdado Cabello: There are no protests in Venezuela today

Contrary to what social media and the media are trying to make people believe, there are no active demonstrations taking place in Venezuela today, said the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

“They are not going to overthrow the government using Tik Tok, there are people here who are willing to defend the Revolution. Venezuela will continue to be a territory of peace and the vanguard of the entire world,” he reiterated, while recalling that an ongoing coup attempt is underway in Venezuela that is being defeated by the Government and the united people.

In this regard, he reiterated that justice will reach all those involved in the acts of violence promoted by the far right in the country. “Now they want to say that these are political prisoners. No, they are not political prisoners, they are terrorists and justice must take care of them,” he stressed.

He also reiterated that the National Government, with the Constitution and the laws in its hands, is obliged to block the path to fascism. “Threats will not stop us, but they will punish us. None of that at this moment will disturb our unwavering decision to ensure that there is justice in Venezuela,” he stressed.

He also called on people to report any threats received from fascist groups. “We are not going to sit down and talk with the fascists, we are going to confront them with great firmness,” he stressed.
