Nicaraguan singer-songwriter Luis Pastor González, very excited, announced through his social media accounts that his song “La nicaragüita de mi amor” was pre-selected by the Latin Recording Academy (Latin Grammy) for the process leading to the official 2024 nominations for the twenty-fifth edition of the awards ceremony for the best of Latin music.
On several occasions, Pastor has dedicated “La nicaragüita de mi amor” to Sheynnis Palacios, who won the Miss Universe 2023 crown last November, the month in which the official video was also published on the YouTube platform, where to date the song has more than 140 thousand views.
“The song’s connection with her is that we both agree on what I tried to express with my lyrics: the love we have for Nicaragua, which transforms us into strength, optimism, tenderness, challenges, loving in the best way, cuddling, pampering, promoting and sharing our country,” Pastor told an international network.

The singer of other hits such as “Juntos somos un volcán”, “Como te quiero nicaragua” and “Aquí viene la reina”, the latter written for Palacios Cornejo, has more than 18 thousand subscribers on YouTube, the same number of followers on Instagram and more than 35 thousand listeners of the nominated song on Spotify.
Luis Pastor González Vega has earned a place among the great musicians of Nicaragua. This year he celebrates 31 years of artistic career, which has been recognized nationally and internationally. The singer is currently touring the United States, a country where he has been well received by the Nicaraguan diaspora.
