Following the protest, the Junín Regional Government (GRJ) announced that the work would be completed and ready to be delivered on July 31, and that classes would begin on August 5. However, according to Professor Lizardo Mendoza, these commitments have not been met.
Faced with this situation, the educational community has gathered to demand that the inauguration of the new infrastructure be carried out in an austere manner and not with an exaggerated number of people.
Professor Mendoza said that they are not opposed to the inauguration, but they are requesting that it be held on the sports court and not in the stadium, as the regional government intends.
They argue that the use of the stadium could damage the tartan track and other facilities, as they are not designed for this type of event, which has an eminently proselytizing character.
The teachers have stated that they will not participate in political events and have expressed their discontent because the regional government has not fulfilled the provision of 280 pieces of furniture for 8 classrooms, nor with the provision of internet for the administrative pavilion and the 60 classrooms that the students will use. These priority aspects have been neglected, according to the teacher.

It is also pointed out that the use of the tartan track requires appropriate equipment such as cleats or special shoes, and that the entry of people with ordinary footwear could damage it. For this reason, at the meeting held yesterday, it was requested that, if the inauguration is to take place, it be done on the sports court, which has a suitable setting for the activity without putting the grass at risk.
They also asked that participation be limited, as the possible attendance of more than 5,000 parents and students has been mentioned, which would exceed the capacity of the institution.
