Long lines of cars and motorcycles were seen this Sunday in the service station in ConcepciónAnger and even traffic chaos were scenes seen at the Zone 5 gas station in the municipality.
An endless line of people with stripes also waited to move forward before the service hour ended or ran out of gas who arrived in the morning.
In the middle of the crowd, a driver shouted that there were two tanker trucks with fuel. “It’s not going to end, don’t worry,” said the man, calling on those present to remain calm.
However, people were desperate to get fuel as soon as possible and were protesting.
In this municipality, not only diesel was in short supply, but also gasoline. A liter of this fuel cost up to 20 bolivianos on the resale market, according to drivers.
In order to end the queues at the country’s pumps, the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) reported having dispatched an extraordinary 4 million litres of fuel to various service stations.
