Tropical Storm Debby forms in the Gulf of Mexico

AREQUIPA, Peru – The low pressure zone that moved across western Cuba in the early afternoon on Saturday emerged into the Gulf of Mexico, becoming a tropical storm.

This situation will maintain a humid flow from the south over the west of the country, so the rains will persist in the western region, and may become strong and intense, especially in the provinces of Pinewood of the river to Mayabeque, including the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud.
