The company that apparently owns the vehicle has issued a statement.

In an event that has generated rejection and indignation in Soledad, Atlántico, after a security camera video recorded the exact moment in which a truck ran over a dog. Apparently, the vehicle belongs to Air-e, the company that operates the energy service in the Caribbean.

According to what is known, it would have occurred last Friday, August 2, on a road in Portal de Soledad.
In the images, the dog can be seen lying on the road, which is visible to drivers, but in this case, the animal was ruthlessly run over without being helped by the occupants of the vehicle, causing a wave of rejection among the community and animal protectors, as they continued on their way.
“It is more than evident how they lean to one side to hurt the dog for no reason. They did not come quickly, there are no excuses and nothing to deny!” said Huellitas Callejeras, who treated the dog, on the Instagram account.
They also indicated that she was seriously injured, “she screams in pain and does not want to eat,” she cannot get up on her own and they performed an X-ray to determine the fractures caused.

Air-e spoke out
The Air-e company, consulted by Semana, indicated that they are carrying out investigations against those allegedly involved in the unfortunate incident and also claimed responsibility for the situation.
“We regret the incident that occurred with the dog. The contractor Deltec reported that it is handling the matter and took responsibility for the situation in order to care for the dog,” they told the media.
Finally, they demand that justice be done for the alleged case of animal abuse.
