For the week of August 3-9, 2024, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs reported this Friday that fuels will be sold at the following prices:
Premium gasoline will be sold at RD$290.10 per gallon, maintaining its price.
Regular Gasoline RD$272.50 per gallon maintains its price.
Regular Gasoil RD$221.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Gasoil Óptimo RD$239.10 per gallon maintains its price.
Avtur RD$196.60 per gallon down RD$3.74.
Kerosene RD$226.40 per gallon down RD$3.70.
Fuel Oil #6 RD$161.53 per gallon up RD$0.46.
Fuel Oil 1%S RD$179.26 per gallon down RD$1.53.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$132.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Natural Gas RD$43.97 per m3 maintains its price.
The average weekly exchange rate is RD$59.43 according to daily publications by the Central Bank.
The Vice Minister of Industry and Internal Trade, Ramón Pérez Fermin, reported this Friday that the government of President Luis Abinader will continue to subsidize the fuels with more than 410 million pesos for the week of August 3-9, 2024.
He explained that the main objective is to avoid transferring to citizens the increases imposed by international prices. He explained that in the case of regular diesel, a subsidy of 20.45 pesos per gallon will be applied. Premium diesel: 15.24 pesos per gallon, regular gasoline: 19.50 pesos per gallon, premium gasoline: RD$13.11 per gallon and LPG: 14.06 pesos per gallon.
“We remain committed to the economic stability and well-being of all Dominicans, ensuring that international fluctuations do not negatively impact our population,” Pérez added.
