It's back again! “La Escuelota” returns to the National Theatre on August 31

Santo Domingo. – Big Show Pro announced that, after the great success of the productions last July, the theatrical comedy “La Escuelota” will return to the “Carlos Piantini” room of the “Eduardo Brito” National Theater, on August 31, starting at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale at Uepa Tickets Servicios CCN Jumbo Supermercados Nacional, Listín Diario Readers Club and the National Theater box office so that all those who missed it can enjoy it.

The cast will include Felipe Polanco as Elvin Vinicio Raposo; Cuquín Victoria as Vicente the Imprudent; Nani Peña as Plácida; Kenny Grullón as Lalo K Cucurulo; Luis Gil as Bobby the Puerto Rican; Phillip Rodríguez as José the Drunkard; Freddyn Beras as The Professor, and as a special guest our Jochy Santos as the Director.

Given the success achieved in recent years, with more than fourteen completely sold-out performances, this comedy continues to demonstrate the influence that, as a humor project, it still maintains in the emotional memory of Dominicans.

“We thank the people for the support they have given to a comedy that has marked several generations, and in response to all the requests we continue to receive for it to be presented once again, we want to invite all the followers of this successful project to enjoy it with their families and enjoy good humor,” said Mr. Néstor Caro.

He also announced that for these performances the show will have new content, with elements alluding to the times we live in. “La Escuelota” is a comedy that brings together great comedians in a simulated classroom, in which the teacher deals with various current national issues and debates them with the students who, with their characters and suddenness, have hilarious outbursts that draw the deepest laughter from the audience with their witticisms from beginning to end.

Néstor Caro once again thanked the Ministry of Culture, represented by its minister, the distinguished communicator Milagros German Olalla, and the National Theater, represented by its director, the prestigious choreographer Carlos Veitia, for all their support for this event.
