Vente Venezuela reports assault and theft of equipment at its main headquarters located in Caracas

Vente Venezuela reported the forced entry into the “El Bejucal” estate, its main headquarters, by hooded individuals who stole equipment

The political organization Vente Venezuela reported on the morning of Friday, August 2, that six armed, hooded and unidentified individuals forcibly entered the “El Bejucal” estate, a property located in Altamira, Caracas, which is its main headquarters, during the early hours of the morning.

Through their social networks, Vente Venezuela reported that the security guards were subdued and threatened as they entered the premises to spray paint, break down doors and take documents and electronic equipment.

In this regard, it denounces the attacks of those who are victims for “political reasons” and alerts the world about the protection of its members.

For its part, the Command with Venezuela described the incident as a “paramilitary assault” that was allegedly carried out with the aim of finding the records that the opposition has and with which it claims victory in the presidential elections last Sunday, July 28 in favor of Edmundo González Urrutia.

Also in X, they stated that those who sent the subjects “were wrong again” because “the heart of our struggle is in millions of homes,” and they also pointed out that they did not find the records because “they are already in the cloud” available to everyone.

This action reported by Vente Venezuela is recorded hours after the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) admitted the electoral contentious appeal filed by the ruler Nicolás Maduro regarding the results of the presidential elections on Sunday 28th, and summoned all candidates to testify on Friday, August 2nd.

This was announced by the president of the Electoral Chamber and president of the TSJ, magistrate Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez, in a speech. This instance admitted the appeal submitted by Maduro on Wednesday, July 31, and indicated that a “process of investigation and verification” is being initiated to review the results of the Venezuelan presidential elections.

The 10 presidential candidates were summoned at 2:00 p.m. The TSJ “assumes the commitment to peace, democracy and the pursuit of the constitutional order of the Republic,” declared the magistrate.
