The Brazilian team arrived this Thursday (1) in Nantes, the location of Brazil’s match against France in the quarter-finals of the women’s football tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris (France), which will be played from 4 pm (BrasĂlia time) next Saturday (3).

To advance in the competition, the women’s team will have to break an uncomfortable record, having never defeated France. In total, there have been eleven matches, with seven wins for the Europeans and four draws. The last game between the teams was held at the 2023 World Cup, with a 2-1 victory for the French.
In next Saturday’s match, coach Arthur Elias will be without two important players: striker Marta, who was sent off in the 2-0 defeat to Spain last Wednesday (31), and full-back AntĂ´nia, who will no longer play during the Olympic Games due to a fractured fibula in her left leg.
