Banco Estado has launched a bond which could significantly alleviate those facing serious health problems. From now on, beneficiaries of this insurance will be able to receive up to $225,000 per day if they have to be hospitalized, either due to health complications or accidents.

This bond Hospitalization is designed to offer a financial assistance In situations of prolonged hospitalization, covering up to 6 UF (equivalent to $225,474) per day, depending on the plan chosen. This amount is intended to alleviate the financial burdens that come with hospitalization, regardless of whether it is a common ward, intensive care unit (ICU) or intensive therapy unit (ICU).
Banco Estado offers three different plans within its Hospitalization Insurance, each with different levels of coverage. Plan 1 provides a bond of 2 UF per day, which is equivalent to approximately $75,158. Plan 2 raises this figure to 4 UF per day, or approximately $150,316. Finally, Plan 3, the most comprehensive, offers 6 UF per day, reaching $225,474.
In addition to these daily payments, the insurance includes additional benefits that provide significant value to the policyholder and his or her dependents. These benefits include a 10% discount at Cruz Verde pharmacies, with a monthly limit of $10,000. Hospitalization assistance is also offered through Integral Group Solution (IGS), which includes preventive diabetes and hypertension screenings, as well as telemedicine for consultations with health professionals up to six times a year. In addition, ambulance service in case of accident is available once a year, with a limit of one bond for 10 UF ($375,790).
To access this bondIn order to apply for a policy, Banco Estado requires that the interested party be a client of the entity, with a current account, credit card or electronic checkbook. Policyholders must be between 18 and 78 years old, while dependent insured persons must be between 14 days and 78 years old. The insurance covers up to 79 years and 364 days, as long as the policyholder and dependents have not suffered from certain health conditions in the last five years. These conditions include cancer, cardiovascular diseases, chronic kidney failure, paralysis, major organ transplants, multiple sclerosis and diabetes.
