The members of the Provincial Committee for Citizen Security (COPROSEC) of Sullanaagreed to support the request for the creation of prosecutors’ offices for flagrancy units requested by the president of the Board of Superior Prosecutors of Sullana, Gladys Péndola Arviza, who mentioned that this measure was necessary in order to efficiently address the immediate processes that have been presented in said units.
The president of the Superior Court of Justice of Sullana, Pedro Lizana Bobadilla said that it is urgent to assign prosecutors to the Flagrancy Unit, since the rest of the justice operators (Judiciary, Public Ministry and PNP), are already installed in the units and have been working to combat crime in this province.

They indicated that the petition will be sent to the Attorney General’s Office for analysis and to address this request in the short term, which seeks to strengthen the criminal justice system.
