The OAS will request the International Criminal Court on the arrest of Nicolás Maduroannounced this Wednesday Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the OAS, at the session of the Permanent Council of that international organization.

The post continues: “It’s time for justice. We are going to request the indictment of those charges. For a hemisphere free of crimes against humanity. My words at the Permanent Council on the results of the electoral process in #Venezuela.”
Almagro also questioned the fact that the National Electoral Court of Venezuela had not shown the voting records of the national elections held last Sunday.

Call for mobilization
Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado called for mobilization on Wednesday through X, following the request for her imprisonment made by President Nicolás Maduro, whom Machado accuses of fraud in the last elections.
“We offered the regime to democratically accept its defeat and move forward with negotiations to ensure a peaceful transition; however, they have opted for the path of repression, violence and lies,” Machado wrote in X.
“Now it is up to ALL of us to assert the truth that ALL of us know. We are going to mobilize. WE WILL DO IT,” he added without providing details.
