Miranda Police reported on Wednesday the arrest of 22 people for the crimes of disturbing public order, obstructing public roads and inciting violence in different areas of the state, who are at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, according to a press release from the Miranda state government.
Currently, the public security forces are deployed in the municipalities of Miranda to guarantee the peace and tranquility of the inhabitants.
Through the Peace Quadrants, constant communication has been maintained with the communities to maintain order in the entity.
In this regard, the Secretary of Community Governments and Peace Quadrants of Miranda, Jassen Sánchez, said through his social networks that the officials of each Peace Quadrant are attending to the specific action agenda, and also serving the people in any situation that warrants it.
He added that the quadrants are also deployed on the different highways and roads to “protect and defend our people.”
