The Employers’ Confederation of the Dominican Republic (COPARDOM) emphasized on Tuesday the commitment that this entity has with occupational health and safety, which it considers as fundamental rights.
COPARDOM President Laura Peña Izquierdo expressed her commitment to promoting compliance with labor laws and fostering continuous improvements in the work environment.
The business leader’s statements were made in response to information reported in the national media regarding companies that were sanctioned by the Ministry of Labor.
In this regard, he indicated that he is confident that due process has been followed and transparency and justice have been guaranteed for all parties involved.
“COPARDOM reaffirms its commitment to responsible labor practices and cooperation with authorities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations,” said Peña Izquierdo.
