Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) announced on Tuesday night that users can carry out their operations normally after overcoming the problems that occurred on its various platforms and applications, such as Yape and Banca Móvil BCP.
Through social media, the bank stated that customers can now use Internet Banking, Telecrédito, BCP Mobile Banking, Vía BCP, ATMs and agents, the Yape application and credit cards.
However, the BCP made it clear that some operations such as “payment of services and interbank transfers” will be progressively reestablished.
Following the problems, BCP has extended the hours of operation at its branches until 7:00 p.m. In this regard, they will waive the additional payment for people who had to pay their card or loan this Tuesday.
“If your card or loan payment is due today and you have not been able to pay due to the intermittent nature of our app, don’t worry, you will be able to do so tomorrow. Any expenses associated with late payment will be waived or reimbursed.“, the BCP said in a statement.
Finally, Banco de Crédito assures that they will continue working to ensure that a similar “incident” does not happen again.
