Our president did not take this into account either, as he is accusing the 5 members of the National Electoral Council, elected by constitutional mandate by the Supreme Court of Justice, of being liars and fraudsters, since the special majority of the Legislative Assembly was not obtained. The CNE is the fourth power of the State and the Venezuelan electoral system of double coincidental voting, digital and paper, with fingerprints and delivery of all the minutes, supervised by 16 audits, is considered one of the most inviolable in the world, even superior to the American system.
By insulting the 5 members of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela without presenting evidence of the alleged fraud, our president ignores that this Council is the fourth branch of government, with autonomy over the executive branch, appointed by the legislative branch by special majorities or, failing that, by the judicial branch.
In his abysmal ignorance of the Venezuelan system, our President ignores that 3 of his members with their 6 substitutes are nominated by Public Universities, another with his two substitutes is nominated by the Faculties of Legal Sciences and the last with his two substitutes is promoted by the Citizen Power.
Do you believe, Mr. Lacalle Pou, that all of them conspired to transform the 70% of votes that Corina says she obtained into 42%, stealing 28% of the votes from her?. Not even medieval alchemists could achieve such a feat in full view of the whole world, in the most closely watched election on planet Earth. At least until the evidence of the infamy appears, which for now is not in the suitcase.
