Chavismo takes to the streets with marches to defend peace

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, called on the Chavista people to mobilize this Tuesday in the streets of Caracas to defend the peace of the country, the victory of President Nicolás Maduro and in rejection of the violence unleashed by extremist opponents who refuse to recognize the results of the National Electoral Council.

“We call on all our people to march tomorrow at two in the afternoon from Petare to Miraflores; from Catia, La Vega and El Valle to celebrate our victory, but above all to defend the peace of the Republic,” he said during a speech on Monday from the Federal Legislative Palace in Caracas.

In addition, Rodriguez called on all revolutionary forces to carry out large marches in the other states of Venezuela.

“Tomorrow we will be on the streets, tomorrow we will be by the thousands, from the four cardinal points that came out on the day of the closing of the campaign (…) we are going to Miraflores to defend our right to life, to freedom and above all to defend the result of the election,” he insisted.

The president of the legislative branch emphasized that the Chavista people will take to the streets to defend peace, even among those who voted against President Nicolás Maduro.

“The candidate you voted for is the one who is organizing all these acts of violence, along with his boss, which they have tried to unleash as a focus in the capital city and other cities in the country,” he explained.

Plan of violence

Rodríguez denounced that the opposition extremism never had an electoral proposal or project for Venezuela, on the contrary, its plan was always to generate violence.

“The call for the electoral event was an excuse to be able to develop the phase of the plan that they had been preparing for quite some time,” he complained.

“Their project is not electoral, fascism does not resort to elections except as an end to try to impose its violent proposal, and that has been the case since Hitler and Mussolini. Their proposal is violence, mistreatment and aggression, as they are doing today,” he warned.

Jorge Rodríguez also attacked technology magnate Elon Musk, who dared to say that the electoral process was tainted and even posted X videos on his social network that were fake news about the event.

“Mr. Musk, in Venezuela elections are automated, there are no voting booths. In Venezuela people vote on voting machines (…)”, he clarified.

Attack on the broadcasting center

The head of the “Our Venezuela” Campaign Command also spoke out against the attacks suffered by the CNE data transmission system on Sunday night.

“They attacked the CNE’s transmission center. Its website has received millions of attacks so far, but they specifically attacked the centers through which the data with the results and voting records pass,” he specified.

Rodríguez explained that the intention was to impose the records that the far-right candidate was handling and prevent the CNE from issuing its bulletin.

“If they had succeeded in that, which was their main plan, then the violence they are trying to sow today, they would have done so yesterday,” he revealed.
