These are the fees for Colombian Immigration procedures for 2024

Migración Colombia updated the rates and prices of the procedures that foreigners can carry out online who intend to reside in the country or also, for those who intend to stay for a short time.

The entity incorporated a series of aids for foreigners who regularize their status in the country have the possibility of accessing formal employment, health, professional risks, among others.

Additionally, those who reside with a visa for more than three months and meet a series of requirements, They may request a foreign identity card to identify themselves in Colombian territory.

According to information from Migración Colombia, through Resolution 1550 of May 14, 2024, the prices of each of the procedures were established, which were set as follows:

Foreigner ID: $267,000
Duplicate Foreigner’s Identity Card: $266,000
PTP extension: $136,000
Duplicate Temporary Protection Permit (TPP): $18,000
Safe passage: $80,000
Certificate of Migratory Movements: $81,000
Automatic Migration: $381,000
Entry of Nicaraguans: US$10
Canadian Reciprocity: $270,000

Procedures

Given that some procedures have been incorporated, foreigners can complete some of them online, in addition to managing part of the services with the entity. For example, One of them is the foreign identity card.which is an identification document for foreigners who hold or benefit from a visa valid for more than three months.

There is also the Entry and Stay Permit (PIP)of which the Special Administrative Unit of Migration Colombia is responsible for issuing entry and residence permits to foreign visitors who do not require a visa for a stay of up to 90 days.

Another one of them is the Temporary Residence Permit (PTP), which is available to foreigners whose nationality does not require a visa and who wish to extend their stay in Colombia. The stay cannot exceed 180 continuous or discontinuous days within the same year.

And perhaps one of the most important is the permission for Temporary Protection (PPT)this identification document issued to Venezuelan citizens who meet the conditions established in Decree 216 of 2021.
