Wellington Arnaud, CEO of the National Institute of Drinking water and Sewers (INAPA), conducted a tour of supervision for the work of the new aqueduct of Villa AltagraciaSan Cristóbal province, and reiterated that the long-awaited work will be completed.
“With this visit we strengthen the commitment done here when we started this project, we recognize that for reasons beyond our control we have not been able to deliver on the established date, but the commitment It is there in force and believe me that Villa will have drinking water quality,” he said.
The official was accompanied by representatives of neighborhood associations of the demarcation, the Foundation for Development of Villa Altagracia (FUDEVA), and journalist Adalberto Grullón, among others.
Arnaud during his tour, visited the new work of taking, at the height of kilometer 45, in Villa Altagraciawhich will have as its source the Haina River.
It is recalled that the new line of drive, of more than five kilometers of pipeline 20-inch steel, and the rehabilitation and expansion of the plantwhich will produce 100 liters per second more to reach 300, which will be enough to guarantee the service.
Meanwhile, it was ordered that Edgar Díaz, national supervisor of INAPA, will monitor the work to ensure its termination.
“Count on that Villa Altagracia will have water and we will comply because thanks to the President Luis Abinader we have the resources to achieve this,” Arnaud said.
