In Cusco, a series of activities are taking place for the Fiestas Patrias. A forest of flags was set up in the main square, followed by a reenactment of the events of the liberating struggle prior to Peru’s independence, a fact that was greatly admired by locals and visitors, who gathered in the Historic Center of Cusco.
So, Following the presentation of the staging, dances from the coast, mountains and jungle were presented, and then sang the national anthem accompanied by the children’s choir and youth orchestra of Cusco, which also marked the beginning of the 5th national meeting of children’s and youth orchestras and choirs of Peru.
