The Open Town Hall Congress, held this Sunday, the 28th, brought together 470 congressmen from all over the country at the Welcome Club in Montevideo.
The objective of the day was to choose who will accompany candidate Guido Manini Ríos on the presidential ticket.
Lorena Quintana’s proposal was the one that received the most support.
The numbers confirm it:
– 338 votes for Dr. Lorena Quintana
– 121 for Lic. Rosana De Oliveira
– 10 were abstentions
With this formula, Cabildo Abierto gives impetus to its proposals to defend the Artigas values that define the party.
