Venezuelan opposition denounces that the Electoral Council is refusing to transmit the results of the minutes

The Venezuelan opposition denounced tonight, four hours after the voting centers closed, that the Venezuelan National Electoral Council is not delivering the minutes to its witnesses or observers. Delsa Solórzano went to the media to say that the observers are being removed from different centers and what is even worse, “the transmission of the results of the minutes has been halted.”

But at the same time he said triumphantly that with the records they collected earlier, they already have enough to know what is happening in the country, without daring to say that electoral fraud is taking place, but making it understood.

“What is happening is that They do not want to print the minutes and they do not want to transmit them. So, the transmission has been stopped, The National Electoral Council, through its operators, is refusing to transmit the result of the minutes,” Solórzano revealed, leader of Encuentro Ciudadano and main opposition witness before the National Electoral Council.

And he asked his collaborators again: “Do not leave the voting centers until you have the minutes in hand. Having these minutes is a legal right that is provided for in all Venezuelan electoral regulations, it is provided for by the law of electoral processes, as well as the regulations issued in this regard by the National Electoral Council. “Failure to submit the report is completely against the law.”

“What is the pattern that we are observing at this moment? There are a significant number of voting centers where They are removing our witnesses. “They are being forced to leave. In a significant number of other polling stations they are refusing to transmit the results of the report,” he repeated.

He concluded by saying that as an opposition they are capable of defending the will of the people. “The will of the citizens was expressed in the full exercise of a human right. Because political rights are human rights. And as we have all done, all our lives, we are going to defend the rights of the citizens and the will of the citizens that has already been expressed.”
