MADRID, Spain.- Armando Figueroa Bontempo, popularly known as Armando Bianchi, was born in Havana on August 26, 1922. From a very young age, in 1939, he began in the artistic world as a tango singer in the theater Campoamor and in the RHC Cadena Azul.
In the 1940s, Bianchi began to stand out as an actor in radio, theater, film and television. cabarets, Demonstrating talent for both humor and drama, in addition to his ability in zarzuelas and operettas, both in Cuba and in several Latin American countries.
