Opposition political leader Carlos Lozano blames the governor of Carabobo state, Rafael Lacava, for the raid on his home
A few hours before the presidential elections, former National Assembly deputy Carlos Lozano reported on social media that groups of police officers were attempting to raid his residence in the Valles de Camoruco development in Valencia, Carabobo state.
Shortly after noon, Lozano made a live broadcast on InstagramThere he showed images captured through security cameras where a large group, identified with the logo of the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions (DAET), can be seen trying to enter the building where he resides.
Carlos Lozano, a political leader of the opposition, blames Governor Rafael Lacava for the action and calls him a “coward.” “You will not find anything here except desires for freedom and a lot of peace.”
He asked Venezuelans and especially those from Carabobo not to be afraid and to never stop in their fight for freedom. He added that they should go out and vote this Sunday, July 28, to continue supporting candidate Edmundo González and opposition leader María Corina Machado.
