While passing by this place, a tire of the bus burst and caught fire, so the bus had to be stopped. Fortunately, the incident only caused material damage; the passengers quickly got off to take other buses and continue their journey. Firefighters arrived at the scene to provide assistance.
The vehicle was left in the middle of the road, blocking the passage of the central highway for more than an hour. After that, it was able to be removed from the road, while the passengers pointed out that this was a bad trip since, in addition to this incident, the costs to come to the center of the country are between 100 and 140 soles, well above the normal price.
