The brewing company was recognized in the annual ranking carried out by Mercado magazine
Santo Domingo – Dominican National Brewery reached a new milestone by ranking second in the “Best Companies to Work For” ranking of the Market magazine.
This achievement represents a significant promotion, moving up one position compared to the 2023 edition, and reflects its ongoing commitment to the well-being and development of its human talent.
The magazine highlighted that one of the company’s strengths is that it promotes the well-being of its employees, as it allocates resources to develop their skills with training programs that allow them to acquire skills and knowledge; in addition to offering them opportunities for promotion and growth based on their skills and efforts.
During the presentation event of the “Best Companies to Work for 2024”, Carla Reyes, Director of People and Management at Cervecería, shared the keys to the company’s success and sustainable growth.
“We are here not only to make beer, but also to build a prosperous and shared future with our team. To achieve this, we have a solid and well-defined value proposition, based on four pillars: our purpose and culture, learning opportunities, career progression and growth, and the competitive compensation we offer our employees,” Reyes said.
In this regard, he stated that Cervecería Nacional Dominicana is looking for collaborators who share the organization’s ideals: dream big, transform their environment and grow, and added that part of this talent acquisition is done through the “Talento Cervecería” program, designed for young university students and recent graduates, to whom it offers the opportunity to train and access their first job at the brewery.
He added that this program is complemented by talks and activities carried out in collaboration with important universities in the country.
According to the executive, in addition to the projects and actions focused on attracting and retaining talent, the company has socioeconomic impact programs such as “Transforma,” which aims to improve the quality of life of its employees and their families through a network of internal volunteers, led by committed executives.
The initiative focuses on five fundamental pillars: health, education, employment, housing and personal finances.
“With this recognition, Cervecería Nacional Dominicana reaffirms its commitment to continue being one of the employers in the industrial sector that offers the most opportunities to the country’s young professionals and to talents already established in the market,” said Carla Reyes.
