To share the challenges and challenges of the current world of communications, the first ‘Ibero-American Symposium on Communication: Trends and Transformations in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’ will be held, an event that will feature national and international figures.
To be held on Friday, September 20, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel, through this training and knowledge space, participants will acquire new experiences and information, being able to optimize and update their communication processes, assume changes and achieve adaptability in this new reality of Artificial Intelligence. Aimed at all professionals from various areas and specialties, as well as university students who wish to get in tune with the new times.
Beginning lesson
The opening will be in charge of Miguel Franjul, director of Listín Diario, who will talk about the new era of communication and journalism, based on his experience of more than 50 years, as well as his updated and modern vision in the digital world. The participation of the veteran journalist will be moderated by José Peguero, founder and director of EnSegundos.do, who will comment on his experiences and knowledge in technological implementations and content development on digital platforms.
Subsequently, two masterclasses will be given, the first by journalist, presenter and producer Edith Febles, on the importance of headlines in the Age of AI, with Danielis Fermín, editor of Dinero Mujer, as the panel leader. The second masterclass will be given by the consultant and digital marketing and social media strategist, Edgar Argüello, who will address the impact of influencers plus AI on brand strategies.
After lunch, Emilio Torres, an economist, Master in neuroeducation and neuropsychology, and corporate coach in transformational leadership and team management, will be there from Spain. In his ‘Ted Talk’ he will address the topic ‘AI: Who has the last word? Transforming labor talent in the Age of AI’. His participation will be moderated by Yara Fermin Alberti, a specialist in Data Science and Generative Artificial Intelligence, from Altice.
Luxury closing with Maria Celeste Arraras
For the first time in the Dominican Republic, the renowned journalist, writer of bestsellers and TV presenter Maria Celeste Arrarás will present her lecture “How to overcome fear and turn it into our best ally.”
The organizers of the event, Marta Quéliz, from Fábrica de Contenidos, and Saraida De Marchena, from Markatel Comunicaciones, expressed that the fear of losing one’s job or not knowing how to deal with AI is the biggest obstacle to accessing this transformation and technological tool of the new digital era. For this reason, ‘How to overcome fear and turn it into our best ally’, invites us to face and overcome the difficulties that life presents, in the face of changes and new stages, in the personal and professional sphere. María Celeste will share with those present how to succeed in all aspects of life, overcoming them and turning them into a great ally. After her presentation, the writer will share a toast with those attending the event.
