For 50 days, three teenagers will be preventively interned in the Miguel Grau youth center in the city of Piura, including one known as “Diablito” aged 17, while they are investigated for allegedly trying to murder two people in the Sánchez Cerro settlement in the Sulllana province.
Prosecutor Max Ulises Ruíz of the First Civil and Family Prosecutor’s Office succeeded in a hearing in obtaining preventive detention for the minors investigated for having participated in the alleged crime of attempted aggravated homicide against two citizens.

The incident occurred on July 16 when two people were being chased by two individuals, one of them carrying a firearm and the three teenagers, apparently armed with screwdrivers and other sharp objects, with the aim of attempting to take their lives.
But then in a chase, the Emergency Unit Police managed to intervene in a blue motorcycle taxi with the juvenile offenders and an adult who was also sent to the Piura prison with a preventive detention measure.
