Tourists arriving in the province of Huancayo were welcomed at the Wanka bus terminal to the rhythm of Santiago, for the traditional Tayta Shanti and Fiestas Patrias festivals. A delegation from the provincial municipality and the Tourism Police were at the reception.

The tourist police recommended that visitors take security measures to avoid becoming victims of crime. They also announced that there is a QR code that tourists can access to find tourist sites in Huancayo, and they called on service providers not to abuse the price of the tickets.

Tickets increase in price
Fares from Lima to Huancayo increased on July 23, with passengers paying from 80 to 120 soles, and vice versa, prices range from 60 to 80 soles. Prices are expected to remain in that range until Fiestas Patrias.
