Two members of a criminal gang associated with the Tren del Llano were killed in Valle de la Pascua (Guárico).
The information was aired on his social networks by General in Chief Domingo Hernandez Larezwho heads the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb).
Those killed were identified as Juan Eduardo Arévalo (El Pata e’ Monstruo) and Riximar Anais Machuca, classified as members of the El Antonio Organized Crime Structured Group.
At the scene, officers seized two pistols: a Tauros Forjas, caliber 9 mm and another Browning American, 9 mm, both requested. They also seized an Empire motorcycle (requested) and 115 rounds of ammunition: 19 AR-15 caliber rifles and 96 FAL caliber .762 X 51 fired by the group against the military-police commission that confronted them in the El Páramo sector of Valle de la Pascua.
“The FANB remains deployed alongside the citizen security agencies guaranteeing the social peace of our people. The Venezuelan State fights daily against the groups that generate violence that affect the peace and tranquility of the population and maintains active deployment to exercise national sovereignty and territorial integrity in a democratic State of law and social justice,” wrote Hernandez Larez.
“In addition, in Venezuela, permits and licenses for carrying weapons are suspended, so only the State may possess and use weapons of war and ammunition. Those that exist will be transferred to the State without compensation,” said the head of Ceofanb.
