FANB maintains plan for safeguarding and custody of electoral material

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) ratified the continuity of support and cooperation with the National Electoral Council (CNE) to carry out the security, protection and custody plan for electoral material for Operation Republic for the 2024 Presidential Elections, to be held on July 28.

This was expressed by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, in his account on the social network X.

“FANB is a guarantee of peace! According to the CRBV, the FANB contributes to the Electoral Power and collaborates with the @cneesvzla as the governing body in guaranteeing the political rights of Venezuelans within the framework of Operation Republic “Presidential Election 2024”, where it will provide its collaboration in transportation, transfer, order, accompaniment, security, custody and protection missions to the platform, men, materials and equipment, according to the electoral schedule and its related activities! #IntegrarEsVencer!”, he posted.

It should be noted that the FANB continues its preparation to guard and provide security before, during and after the presidential elections on July 28 and so far has received more than 300 hours of training as is customary in all elections, which includes logistics and mechanisms in security zones and access routes with the purpose of guaranteeing a transparent, safe and participatory electoral process.
