Paraguayan government strengthens security for judges and prosecutors, after Marset's threat

The Government of Paraguay has ordered Strengthening the security of judges and prosecutors who are carrying out the proceedings against the members of the criminal organization dismantled in the operation called ‘A Ultranza’.

“I will deal with my lawyers after this, at least remove the judge and the prosecutor from their posts. At least that because the truth They have to pay jail time for all the damages “that has been caused to my wife and my children by suffering this situation for more than two years of persecution,” said Marset.

In response to these statements, Paraguay’s Interior Minister, Enrique Riera, ordered the police to reinforce security of the prosecutors and judges who are prosecuting Marset and his accomplices in the ‘A Ultranza’ case.

“I listened with concern and spoke to the Police Commander, We will communicate personally with each one of those involved in the case and we are going to give it special coverage,” Riera told Paraguay’s ABC radio.

The minister said that he met with the administrators of justice and the representatives of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the Marset case and that They were asked to change their usual routes, In addition, they were given permanent surveillance.

“It is proven that this Mr. (Marset) moves a lot of moneymany influences. If the State does not take care of those who are investigating, we are not fulfilling our job,” said Riera.
