Later, parliamentarian Jose Cueto made a comment regarding some dates that did not match between the information given by César Aguilar and SUNAT about a period worked in a law firm. In this regard, Congressman Cavero clarified that these considerations will be included in the final report that the subcommittee will vote on. However, he made it clear that this report is not binding on the Standing Committee and therefore does not influence the decision they make as the final instance of this process.

He was the second candidate proposed by the Executive to succeed Nelson Shack in the Comptroller General’s Office of the Republic. However, in May, the Standing Committee dismissed Pedro Cartolín Pastor’s proposal was approved by 8 votes in favor and 17 against, excluding him from the process.
