River and a draw with a taste of defeat

River experienced an exciting match at their stadium, the Monumental, when they faced Club Atlético Lanús in the Professional League. The match, which marked Millo’s return after a preseason and the Copa América, left fans on the edge of their seats.

Miguel Borja, the Colombian striker, was the hero of the day by scoring a double that rescued River defeat. Lanús, led by Martín Demichelis, took the lead twice, but Borja responded with his goals to equalize the score at 2-2.
