Javier Bertucci brought construction materials to help rebuild destroyed homes in Cumanacoa, Sucre state
The presidential candidate for El Cambio and deputy of the National Assembly 2020, Javier Bertuccibrought construction materials and household goods to the victims of Cumanacoa, Sucre state, so that people can rebuild the homes that were destroyed after the Manzanares River overflowed.
Bertucci, who returned to Sucre state to deliver supplies, brought materials such as blocks, trusses, sand, rebar, wire coils, cement, crushed stone and zinc sheets. In his opinion, this confirms his commitment to help the most vulnerable.
According to a press release, the beneficiaries of the aid brought by the candidate expressed their gratitude for the help to recover their homes and that they will work hand in hand with El Cambio activists to rebuild the houses.

Javier Bertucci moved Thursday, July 11 to Cumanacoa, Sucre state, to provide support and humanitarian assistance to those affected by the flooding of the Manzanares River, which left at least six dead and more than 20,000 homes affected.

Bertucci, who together with his team delivered food, clothing, footwear, mattresses and other essential supplies, as well as bowls of soup to meet the main needs of those affected, said he was empathetic with the situation that the inhabitants of Cumanacoa are going through and said that they will continue making efforts to give them their support.
“I think the greatness of our people is solidarity. Today we are here with this community that lost everything, we are with a grandmother who lost her entire house and many people lost everything they had and we have come here to be in solidarity,” he said.
He also pledged to devote efforts to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the area. “We are organizing efforts to rebuild homes, so that we can support each other in this community,” he emphasized.
