CNE has distributed 100% of the machines for the presidential election

CNE has distributed 100% of the machines for the presidential election

The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoros, revealed this Sunday that the authorities of the electoral body have “distributed 100% of the machines for the presidential election,” a task carried out throughout the national territory.

“We can proudly say that we have 100 percent of the machines distributed in each of the states of the country, after a task that required many days,” said the president of the CNE in statements to the media.

Amoroso pointed out that all the material that makes it possible to hold an election of the caliber of June 28th came from the CNE warehouses located in Mariche, Miranda state, and he sent a message of congratulations to all those who work in the electoral body “because they are true heroes,” he said.

Verification of each process

Amoroso also stressed that representatives of each political party have been present in each verification and audit process, verifying “from the codes to the software.” He recalled that the CNE and the Venezuelan State guarantee the best automated system and that the candidate chosen by the voter in their voting process is respected.

He also indicated that international observers from different countries have verified the voting process and carried out audits together with political parties and technicians from the CNE and universities “and it fills us with pride to hear them say, ‘this is perfect and totally protected so that the Venezuelan people can exercise their will’ this coming June 28.”

“On the other hand, there are others who did not want to sign anything and we might see them shouting some things” – added Amoroso – because they do not agree with the “perfect Venezuelan electoral system,” he stressed.

He pointed out that there are nations that are “very critical” but it takes months to know who won a presidential or congressional election. “We say from this pre-office day that we will soon be announcing who will be the next president of the Republic,” he said.

He said that the CNE sessions will continue throughout the week, until Sunday, July 28, when they will inform the media of the results of the presidential election.

Finally, he urged the people to vote on June 28, thanking them “for their expressions of confidence in the CNE.”

For his part, the Vice President of the CNE, Carlos Quintero, highlighted that during the pre-dispatch of this July 21, the integrity of the data was assessed “that is to say, everything that was audited is what the machine contains and we validated the act of voting, in addition to the transmission and totalization process.”

The proof of voting was also validated against the vote counting record and it was confirmed to be 100 percent correct.

Quintero called on all participating political organizations to say that it is very dangerous to call for ignoring the results issued by the CNE because “the voting process is automated, which guarantees a chain of trust, which is what gives political parties peace of mind in this electoral process.”
