Maduro from Apure: We must safeguard the free and independent homeland with our vote

In view of the elections on Sunday, July 28, the president and candidate of the people, Nicolás Maduro, stated from the state of Apure during his closing campaign that a great victory will be built. “I know what I am saying, we are winning, in Apure, in Los Llanos, in all of Venezuela, we are winning and well. We have victory in our hands and we must secure it,” he stressed when reviewing the machinery of the 1x10x7 of the entity.

He insisted that victory in the presidential election on July 28 must be secured in order to continue promoting direct democracy and social programs.

During a rally in San Fernando de Apure, he highlighted the mobilization of the people because it represents “the preparation and prelude to the great victory of July 28.”

“I am prepared and ready. I am Nicolás Maduro, president of the people, son of Chávez and we are going to win. We are going to build a great victory,” he stressed.

In his speech, Maduro warned that the right “disdains and hates the people” and will put an end to the Missions and Great Missions that benefit the people.

In this context, he reiterated the need to strengthen the machinery of the 1x10x7 promoted by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to ensure participation in the electoral contest.

“We have victory in our hands and we must secure it” to safeguard “the free and independent homeland and to ensure that it continues on the path of building a new productive economy,” he said.

Maduro offered to deepen direct democracy. “From now on, consultations will be held quarterly so that people can vote in their communities on which project they want us to finance to resolve their issues,” he said, referring to the National Consultation that took place last April.

The GPP standard-bearer also warned that the elites intend to take power to “impose a false democracy, a bourgeois democracy.”

With the joy characteristic of his entire pilgrimage through the country, candidate Maduro danced and sang his campaign songs with those present and this Sunday, he especially sent a message of congratulations to the children of the country on their day and came down from the stage to greet his followers gathered in San Fernando de Apure.

At the end, the deputy and singer, Cristóbal Jiménez, sang a piece specially created to invite people to vote for the candidate Maduro, where the harp, cuatro and maracas took center stage.
