From Peru to the United States! La Oroya schoolboy wins international mathematics olympiad

This is the student Brandon Camargo Chagua, a native of La Oroya, who stood out and brought the gold medal for Peru, after winning the Fifth International Mathematics Olympiad COPERNICUS 2024, which took place at Columbia University in New York, in the United States.

Brandon Camargo, a student at the José María Arguedas school in the province of Yauli, traveled to the United States to participate in an international Olympiad on July 16 and 18, where he emerged victorious. At the time of the award ceremony, the student came out with the Peruvian flag to receive his gold medal.
