Candidate Luis Eduardo Martínez recalled that there has been no intention to decline his candidacy at any time, and on the contrary, he plans to govern until 2031
The presidential candidate for judicialized Democratic Action, Luis Eduardo Martinezassured that “in a few hours I will be the president of the Republic.” He said this in a mobilization that he led in the city of Valencia, where he stated that he will govern in peace and democratically for all Venezuelans.
“I will govern without persecutors or those being persecuted; to ensure that salaries, wages and pensions are decent; so that public services can be restored,” he stressed.
He also called on the people of the state to “vote en masse” on July 28. At the same time, he assured them that they can rest easy because the witnesses of Acción Democrática and other allies will take care of the votes.
As part of his statements, the opposition leader explained that his administration will focus on recovering national production: “In the case of Carabobo, we are convinced that by reactivating its industrial zones we can ensure that it becomes a development pilot for the entire region,” he said.
He stressed that quality education will be the epicenter of development: “A few hours ago, the QS University Ranking was published and two universities in Carabobo appear among the best on the continent, this is a sign of the talent and capabilities that exist here,” he said.

He also explained that the State has significant potential in terms of tourism, as well as economics, and that the entity has the characteristics for the Special Economic Zones plan initiated in the country.
As part of his speech, he recalled that there has been no intention to decline his candidacy at any time, and on the contrary, he plans to govern until 2031. “The process of declining to run ended on Thursday, at 12 midnight, according to the CNE schedule. In my case, with AD and allies, I will go until January 10, 2031 because we are going to govern and we are going to promote a reform that does not allow indefinite reelection, to give opportunity to the new generations,” he said.
