The head of the campaign command “Venezuela Nuestra del siglo XXI”, Jorge Rodríguez, announced new simultaneous mass events in all states of the country until next Thursday, July 25, when they plan to mobilize millions of people in the city of Caracas for the closing of the campaign of the candidate of the Gran Polo Patriótico (GPP), Nicolás Maduro.
Speaking to the media, Rodriguez said that, since yesterday in the city of Coro, “the great human tide of the forces of the homeland, of the forces of truth, began.”
“What happened in Coro is an impressive event that started yesterday, and we want to announce to the media today that between yesterday and next Thursday we will be holding mass closures in the 23 states of the country,” he said.
He also highlighted the pilgrimage of the standard-bearer of the revolutionary forces, Nicolás Maduro, who has traveled for a month and a half to nearly 180 cities, towns, villages and roads throughout the country. “It has been a process never before seen in the history of this country, how our candidate, our president Nicolás Maduro, has spread across the four cardinal points of our geography,” he stressed.
The head of the campaign command reiterated that they will now go to the mass closings so that the people take the state capitals and main cities “in huge concentrations for the closings of the campaign of the candidate of loyalty to the future of the country.”
The people take Caracas
Jorge Rodríguez announced that on Thursday 25th the people will take over Greater Caracas from 10 in the morning until 10 at night.
“We are going to gather, I dare say, millions of people who will be distributed throughout the territory of Greater Caracas. From Petare, Baruta, El Hatillo, Chacao, from the 22 parishes of the Bolivarian municipality of Libertador, of the so-called Historic Caracas,” he explained.
He also invited all the popular sectors and communities of Caracas to attend the grand closing event of the campaign. “Let the 562 neighborhoods in Caracas come down. Let Petare come down, let the urbanizations come down, let the neighbors come down,” he said.
He added that millions of people will march from Petare to Catia. “We are going to take over the entire territory of Greater Caracas starting at 10 in the morning with our joy, with our slogans, with our music, with our rhythm, with our artists and with our candidate,” he insisted.
Rodriguez also reported that more than 60,000 motorcyclists will be mobilized, who will be carrying out agitation activities and marches throughout the territory of Greater Caracas.
Respect the results
The head of the campaign command asked the revolutionaries to go out into the streets to defend the vote and peace, as well as to enforce the results that emanate from the National Electoral Council (CNE).
“Forget about pregnant birds. Forget about cheap exit polls. Forget about rumors through bots and social networks and international media. In Venezuela and anywhere in the world, what counts are the votes,” he said.
