Workers from the former Caja Sullana protested on their second day in some streets of the fence of the Sullana provincedemanding that they be informed about their employment status after Caja Piura absorbed the financial institution that was intervened by the Superintendency of Banking and Insurance (SBS).
The said personnel went through the Plaza de Armas and Bolívar and San Martín streets and arrived at the José Cardó passage in the premises of the Councillors’ Room of the Municipality of Sullana where they asked them to help them with their request to the SBS.

According to the spokesman and employee of the former Caja Sullana, Iván Helguero Arámbulo, more than 1,800 workers of this financial institution would be left on the street, because the transfer to Caja Piura does not stipulate any contractual labor issues for the workers of Caja Sullana.
